Wakulla Yoga Waiver

The following waiver applies to both in studio and virtual online classes as well as classes that occur onsite and offsite.  By signing below I acknowledge that I voluntarily participate in yoga classes with Wakulla Yoga LLC with full knowledge that there is inherent risk associated with physical exercise.  Wakulla Yoga LLC offers vigorous styles of yoga instruction that at some time during the practice could stretch the muscles, work the bones and joints, and increase the heart rate. Wakulla Yoga LLC instructors are not medical professionals and all participants are urged to obtain a physical examination and approval to participate from their physician prior to beginning a yoga practice.

In addition I understand that: 

I must take responsibility for my body and refrain from engaging in any activity during the practice whether in studio or online that I feel is unsafe for my own personal physical limitations.

I am able at any time to cease the activity being taught in order to prevent injury.
There is an inherent risk in all physical exercise and participation in yoga class whether in studio or online is undertaken at my own risk.

I shall not hold liable Wakulla Yoga LLC, its members, instructors or representatives for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of actions whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the yoga instruction.

Parents or legal guardians of minors (age 17 and under) additionally agree to instruct their minor regarding the above, and consent to the minor’s participation in this activity.

I further understand that Wakulla Yoga LLC is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend class either onsite or offsite.

I also acknowledge and agree to the following regarding the COVID19 Pandemic:

I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities will at various times recommend practicing social distancing.

I further acknowledge that Wakulla Yoga LLC cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, studio staff, and other studio clients and their families.
I voluntarily seek services provided by Wakulla Yoga LLC and acknowledge that in doing so I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. 

I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending classes at Wakulla Yoga LLC, whether on-site at the studio or offsite.

I hereby release and agree to hold Wakulla Yoga LLC harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the studio, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from Wakulla Yoga LLC. I understand that this release discharges Wakulla Yoga LLC from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the studio with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from Wakulla Yoga LLC. This liability waiver and release extends to the studio together with all owners, partners, and employees.
