Mental Health Counseling with Suzanne
Many of you who have practiced Yoga with me also know that I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. It was my vision after I sold my Yoga studio (Journeys in Yoga) in Tallahassee, that I would get back to my original roots as a mental health therapist, with an added holistic slant- blending my knowledge of the mindfulness, movement and breath practices of Yoga with traditional talk therapy. I hope to have my telehealth therapy business up and running this summer 2025! Check back here soon as I develop this page to link you to my telehealth site. I look forward to serving you and sharing with you the benefits of the two professions of counseling and Yoga.
Mission
The missions for Shine Wellness Services can be summed up with this quote called
"A Medicine Woman's Prayer":
"I will not rescue you, for you are not powerless.
I will not fix you, for you are not broken.
I will not heal you, for I see your wholeness.
I will walk with you through the darkness
as you remember your light."
Vision
Dr. Gabor Mate' says that "the essence of effective therapy is about the quality of the relationship between therapist and client." My vision is to build a supportive relationship with you while holding a safe space for you to look inward and explore what is there. You will not be alone on your journey of revelation and transformation. I will walk alongside you as you rediscover yourself.
